Position Overview: Who We Are Looking For
Grundfos Commercial Building Services (CBS) is looking for a seasoned Senior Key Account Manager specializing in Data Center Projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing high-level relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including distribution partners, end-users, influential consultants, and major contractors.
We need a technical and strategic thinker—someone who can not only identify untapped opportunities for growth but also develop tailored, sophisticated solutions and articulate the powerful value proposition of Grundfos products and services. Your role will be multifaceted, blending technical expertise with strategic business development. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans designed to drive significant sales growth and exceed revenue targets. You will be expected to identify and pursue new business opportunities while strategically expanding our customer base.
- Technical Expertise & Solution Selling: Cultivate a deep, authoritative understanding of Grundfos products, applications, and solutions specifically relevant to the data center market. You will be the “go-to” expert, effectively communicating this value proposition to all stakeholders to drive specification and sales.
- Stakeholder Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers in the data center ecosystem. This includes understanding their unique technical and business challenges and providing innovative solutions that meet their precise requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work as an integral part of the Data Center Team, collaborating seamlessly with Customer Service & Support Centers (CSSC), Operations, Engineering, and other internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and to facilitate the development of winning solutions.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Act as the “eyes and ears” of Grundfos in the field. You will continuously monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and gather critical customer feedback to inform our strategic decision-making and identify new areas for potential growth.
- Deal Negotiation & Closure: Lead complex negotiations and confidently close major deals with data center clients, ensuring agreements are mutually beneficial and firmly aligned with Grundfos’s long-term business objectives.
