Are You Ready to Lead with Heart and Make a Real Difference?
Picture this: you’re not just managing schedules and paperwork. You’re the central pillar of support that allows an elderly person to remain in the home they love, surrounded by familiar memories. You’re the reassuring voice that guides a compassionate carer through their first day on the job. You’re the leader who ensures that the most vulnerable people in our community receive not just care, but genuine companionship and dignity.
If this vision resonates with you, then your next career move is right here.
Platinum Homecare isn’t just another healthcare company. We are Ireland’s fastest-growing homecare provider for a reason. Our mission is simple but powerful: to create a more efficient, compassionate, and reliable method of providing care to those who need it most. We’re not about ticking boxes; we’re about changing lives. And we need an exceptional Care Manager in Limerick to help us do just that.
This is more than a job—it’s a leadership role where your dedication directly impacts the well-being of both clients and carers. If you’re a highly motivated, organised, and big-hearted leader, we want to hear your story.
A Snapshot of Your New Role
As the Care Manager for the Limerick region, you will be the face and the heart of Platinum Homecare in your community. You will be entrusted with growing, managing, and inspiring a team of dedicated carers, ensuring they are supported, trained, and motivated to deliver the highest standard of care.
Think of yourself as the conductor of an orchestra. Your carers are the talented musicians, and our clients are the audience. Your job is to ensure every element works in perfect harmony, creating a beautiful outcome for everyone involved. You won’t be doing this alone; you’ll be fully backed by our Platinum Support Centre and your Regional Manager, who will provide the tools, resources, and guidance you need to succeed.
Your Key Responsibilities: Where You’ll Make an Impact
Your days will be dynamic, challenging, and incredibly rewarding. Your core duties will include:
1. Team Leadership & Carer Welfare:
You will be the go-to person for your team of carers. This means efficiently managing their onboarding journey, building their rotas with care and consideration, and championing their ongoing training and professional development. Your focus on carer welfare is crucial—a supported carer provides the best care.
2. Training & Induction:
You will confidently deliver our comprehensive Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training. This isn’t just about going through a slideshow; it’s about instilling our values, teaching essential skills, and ensuring every new carer feels prepared, confident, and empowered before they ever step into a client’s home.
3. Safeguarding & Compliance:
Using our state-of-the-art One Touch Care Management software, you will have a bird’s-eye view of all daily care activities. Your sharp eye for detail will be focused on safeguarding and compliance, ensuring every single interaction meets the highest standards of safety and professionalism. You’ll take immediate action on any issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
4. Communication & Coordination:
You will be the vital communication link between the frontline care in Limerick and our central Support Office. Using One Touch, you’ll coordinate scheduling, update client care plans, and manage communications with the HSE, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
5. Quality Assurance:
You will take ownership of conducting and recording Client Quality Assurance reviews. This involves visiting clients, listening to their feedback, and ensuring the care we deliver consistently meets both Platinum Homecare’s strict standards and those of the HSE.
6. A Can-Do Attitude:
In a growing company, every team member needs to be flexible. You’ll be ready to take on any reasonable duty that supports our overarching goal: providing the highest level of care possible.
