Your Mission: The Strategic Backbone of Our Operations
As the Purchase Incharge at Chocomelt, you will be the central pillar supporting our entire operational framework. Your mission is to ensure that our kitchens and outlets are never wanting for quality, that our financial resources are utilized with maximum efficiency, and that our supply chain is a model of reliability and innovation. You will move beyond traditional purchasing to become a value-creation engine for the company.
A Deep Dive into Your Key Responsibilities
Your role will be multifaceted, blending strategic oversight with hands-on operational management. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Strategic Procurement & Policy Implementation:
- Develop and Implement Best Practices: You will be the architect of Chocomelt’s procurement strategy, designing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures that become the gold standard for the organization.
- Vendor & Product Evaluation: Continuously scan the market to evaluate products, services, and vendors. Your keen eye will identify opportunities for improvement and source products that offer the best possible value, balancing cost with uncompromising quality.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Direct procurement policies to ensure all items—from perishable ingredients to operational supplies—are purchased and delivered within strict budget and time constraints, preventing any operational disruptions.
2. Vendor & Relationship Management:
- Strategic Partnerships: Proactively develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors. You will be the face of Chocomelt to our supply partners, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial ecosystem.
- Negotiation & Contracts: Leverage your solid analytical skills to conduct thorough cost analyses and prepare reports that empower you to negotiate the best prices, payment terms, and service-level agreements. You will be responsible for drafting and managing vendor contracts that protect company interests.
3. Store & Inventory Operations:
- End-to-End Store Management: Take full responsibility for all store activities, including issuing, receiving, and maintaining accurate stock levels. You will ensure the store is a model of efficiency and organization.
- Daily Purchasing & Cash Handling: Be directly responsible for daily purchase activities and the associated cash handling, maintaining impeccable financial integrity and record-keeping.

4. Administrative, Reporting & Compliance:
